Mountain Street Pet Cremations provides a "sensitive alternative" for pet owners located in the West and East Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada. Most people do not feel comfortable, or can't bare the thought of leaving their pet at a veterinary clinic, to be disposed of by the city. But what are the alternatives during this very emotional time?
You may see backyard burial as a viable alternative to your beloved pet, however this is not usually recommended for the following reasons:
- You might want the possibility of relocation if you move
- City codes may prohibit such action of burying pets in the yard
- Emotional stress involved
Mountain Street Pet Cremation Services can alleviate many of the problems involved with pet deaths and burials. We are located in Fruitvale, British Columbia,Canada and provide twenty four hour phone service, which allows you to reach us in your time of need. We will pick up the pet from the home or veterinary clinic. A staff member will notify the owner as soon as the cremation process has been completed.

Mountain Street Pet Cremations offers two types of cremations:
Communal - no ashes are returned.
Price $100+$5 GST=$105
Private - Animal is cremated by itself and ashes are returned to you in an urn.
Price $300 + $15 GST =$315
We pick up at the local vets office, or we will come to your house, or you can bring your pet to us.
All cremations are by appointment only.
